A bit of a delayed announcement- but we now have Lenka working on Tuesdays and Fridays again. It’s great to have her back!
While Lenka is treating patients we are still waiting for lockdown measures to ease further before phasing Tom, David and our reception team back into work.
For those of you that didn’t know already, Lenka originally qualified as an accountant in her birthplace the Czech Republic, before qualifying as an osteopath in 2005 at the British School of Osteopathy in London. This is the largest and oldest Osteopathic College in the UK, widely respected throughout the world.
Lenka is registered with the General Osteopathic Council that regulates the practice of osteopathy in the United Kingdom and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA), the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) as well as The Northern Counties Society of Osteopaths (NCSO).
As part of her CPD training Lenka has attended a course in ‘Western Medical Acupuncture’ which she uses as part of her treatment where appropriate. She has a personal interest in yoga and Pilates and attended a ‘Pilates for Practitioners’ course. This helps her to devise individually tailored exercises both for rehabilitation and the prevention of further problems.
In her spare time, Lenka is a keen cyclist but also enjoys rock-climbing and mountain walking. She also has a passion for gardening and worked as a volunteer at RHS Harlow Carr botanical gardens.
If you would like to book an appointment with Lenka, or just need some advice, please do not hesitate to call the practice on 01423 561566 or our ‘out of office hours’ number 07858 131694. We hope you are all keeping well and staying safe during these strange times.
Best wishes
Chris and everyone at the Harrogate Osteopathic Clinic
